On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management, Staff we wish to thank all Members who have visited the Club since we reopened on Monday, the 1st June 2020. It goes without saying that the last 2 months have been the longest time that the Club has been closed since the Club opened.

The vast majority of all guests have understood and have respected the changes to the Club that have allowed us to welcome you back, but below are reminders of these regulations that we all need to keep abiding by, to ensure that we continue to enjoy the facilities of our Club.


Access to the Commercial Club is via our Elizabeth Street Entrance and Bottle Shop doors. Members will be required to enter and exit separately, we ask that when entering the Club, you keep to the left and when leaving the Club, again please keep to your left. We have this clearly marked for you so please observe the signs and ensure you keep 1.5m distance at all times.

Message regarding the Victorian Travel Restrictions

Visitors are welcome to access the Commercial Club’s facilities.

For the health, safety and well being of Members, Staff and our local community and in light of the current COVID-19 travel restrictions imposed by the Victorian Government, only persons who reside outside of the quarantined postcodes may use our facilities.

Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.


Our Bottle Shop is open normal trading hours. The Car Park doors are open and you can also enter and exit the Club via the Bottle Shop. Members and Guest are still required to sign in and out via the terminal at the Bottle Shop doors.


We are so happy to announce our Club Gymnasium will open on Monday 6th July.

All Commercial Club members are required to present their membership card upon entry.

As a condition of entry members are required to sign in and out of the Club. Following NSW Government regulations, we are required to record the names and contact details of all members, staff, contractors and any other person that enters the club.


Highly visible CovidSAFE Marshalls are walking around our venue tasked with ensuring compliance of social distancing rules, answering questions and promoting good personal hygiene practices.

Please always follow our CovidSAFE Marshall’s instructions and co-operate with them.


Additional cleaning and sanitising procedures are placed in all areas of the Club. Hand sanitiser dispensers are available throughout the Club and we encourage all patrons to regularly utilise these for safety and comfort.

Additionally, we encourage patrons to regularly wash their hands, in particular before and after eating, and after handling cash or visiting the bathroom. Frequently touched surfaces such as button panels, handrails and bathrooms will be a focus of these additional procedures. We ask that all patrons please follow the recommendations and procedure signage placed around the Club to ensure the safety of all.


Food & Beverage

We are not currently taking bookings for any of our restaurants. Please see below for the trading hours of our restaurants:

• Reflections Café: 8:00am – late (every day)

• Sports Bar & Grill: Lunch 12:00pm – 2:00pm | Dinner 6:00pm – 9:00pm (every day)

• Bottle Shop: 11am – 8pm (every day). No access is available from within the Club. Please access via the doors in the car park

• Please note that the Club’s First Floor is closed, which includes the Sevens Restaurant, Red Room, Snooker Room and Bridge Room

• Please note all patrons must be seated while consuming alcohol


All gaming lounges will be open. Strict social distancing measures and cleaning and sanitising procedures are in place.


The 2021 Member Fees for all financial Members at 30 June 2020 will be $20, a reduced rate than last year. Our Gym subs are also reduced. Member Subscription Renewals will be mailed in late June. At the moment, we ask that Members wait until the renewals have been sent to renew your membership when you come into the Club.

Bonus Points

Members will continue to earn Bonus Points on purchases made in the Club.


The existing regulations and social distancing measures do not support the hosting of shows at the current time.

Birthday Offers

For Members whose birthday month occurs during the shutdown period, we have added your Birthday Points to your membership card for you to use. Simply swipe your card at our food and beverage outlets and ask to pay with your Members Points to redeem. These points will be valid until 31 July 2020.

Bingo and Raffles

There will be no bingo and raffles scheduled at this stage. We will notify Members via our weekly newsletter and social media pages when we can bring back appropriately socially distanced bingo sessions.

Functions and Events

Due to the limits on group booking numbers and reduced room capacities to help manage social distancing requirements, the booking of Functions and Meetings is currently unavailable.


Do we need to book in advance to attend the Club or dine at food outlets?

We are not currently taking bookings. Both Ground Floor restaurants will be walk-in only with no advance bookings available.

Are the gaming areas open?

Yes. All Club gaming areas are open with social distancing measures in place including machines turned off to ensure a 1.5 metre distance between players.

Is a member required to consume food to visit the club and use its facilities?

No. Patronage will not be predicated on the consumption of food.

Can alcohol be purchased without a meal/food?

Yes. NSW Health have confirmed that the purchase and consumption of alcohol will not be ancillary to the purchase and consumption of food.

Are there any changes to parking?

No changes.

What payment options will be available in the Club?

In line with the heightened medical guidelines we encourage members to utilise our Tap and Go contactless electronic payment method, however cash is still accepted. Our ATM facilities will be available and frequently sanitised.

How long will the current restrictions apply?

The NSW Government has not advised how long these conditions will be required; however, they will be reviewed regularly in line with the broader COVID-19 situation and case numbers.
